I’m Mathushangar Yogendran, known as Mathu. I help small business owners make clearer decisions, build meaningful connections, and grow businesses that last. I do this through my work with V-Ignite and BNI Sri Lanka, and by sharing what I learn along the way.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
My first business failed early in my entrepreneurial journey. It set me back by several years, financially, but also personally.
I learned that business failure doesn't stay inside the business. It follows the entrepreneur home. It can affect confidence, relationships, decisions and the way you see your own future.
I couldn't rewrite that failure. But I could decide what came next.
I wanted to build my own success story, while becoming part of the growth stories of other entrepreneurs.
That decision gradually became the purpose behind almost everything I do today.

My professional career began in accounting and finance, the foundation that shaped how I understand businesses.
I began freelancing as a bookkeeper. One client became another, and the journey that became V-Ignite began.
V-Ignite has grown from my bookkeeping work into a business serving clients in Sri Lanka and abroad. My work with BNI Sri Lanka has opened another way to support entrepreneurs: helping them build relationships and grow through their communities.
